History Lesson

Contrary to what some believe, Texas was not stolen from Mexico. Mexico lost Texas because Mexico (like the United States today) was taken over by a tyrant who trashed the Constitution ...
The 1824 Constitution of Mexico was the first full constitution adopted by the Mexican Republic ... [I]t was to this liberal constitution that the defenders of the Alamo referred on the flag they flew, which was emblazoned with the date "1824." Under this constitution, American and European settlers were drawn to Mexican Texas by its broad promises of freedom. After the Anglo settlers of Texas had become accustomed to their land, however, the political and social conditions suddenly became much less liberal under the harsh rule of President Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna, who rescinded the 1824 Constitution and replaced it with the anti-federalist 1835 Constitution, thereby dissolving the federation of "free and sovereign states" (which were replaced by French-style "departments"), centralising national power in Mexico City, and providing much of the impetus for the secession of Texas and the Mexican-American War. It also prompted the secession of several other Mexican states, including Yucatan forming the short-lived Republic of Yucatan, and Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, and Tamaulipas banding together to form the short-lived Republic of the Rio Grande ... WIKIPEDIA
The rule of law is under assault again in Texas, and in the United States generally. The parallel with Mexico in 1836 is striking. We also have a Constitution that, if not quite overthrown, is under assault by the government, which is supposed to support it and instead treats it as an inconvenience to be bypassed whenever possible. Like the Texans of 1836, we have a president who doesn't believe the rule of law applies to him, who has surrounded himself with sycophants out for all they can get ... LINK

UT's Mad Professor of Genocide
Creepy quote from a letter to Infowars written by a UT Arlington biologist defending UT Austin's mad professor Eric Pianka who advocates exterminating 90 percent of the population with Ebola:
Actually he said MANY TIMES that he would have no problem being the first to go, and fully understood (although saddened by the fact) that this would include his loved ones too!! He wishes no ill will toward anyone (he has children and grandchildren of his own you know), but there is NO DENYING the natural world would be a better place without people - ALL people!" LINK

R.I.P.
I am sorry to report that Doug Thompson has killed his own credibility. The killing, which occurred last Friday in Thompson's column "The Rant" on his website Capitol Hill Blue, appears to have been intentional, therefore is being investigated as a homicide.
Without warning, and without any apparent provocation, Thompson killed his credibility by writing an article debunking 9/11 conspiracy "theories." As soon as he wrote the headline "9/11 Conspiracy Theories Don't Pass the Smell Test," his credibility could be seen turning a pale, sickly color; witnesses also heard his credibility begin moaning in pain.
But, mere moments later, in the first two paragraphs of the column, Thompson's credibility appeared to rally when he stated his belief that conspiracies were behind the deaths of JFK and MLK; however, in the third paragraph, Thompson attacked the very idea of 9/11 being an inside job, thus causing his credibility to let out a sharp cry and shrivel into a small, withered, quivering thing--a pitiful remnant of its former self.
By the end of the column, after Thompson had ignored evidence of a controlled demolition of the World Trade Center, made the obligatory references to Oliver Stone and "conspiracy buffs," and made the statement that the government is not competent enough to pull off an operation such as 9/11, it was apparent that his credibility was grievously wounded and would probably not survive the assault.
Nevertheless, efforts were made to resuscitate Thompson's credibility. They proved futile, however, and his credibility was declared dead at the scene.
Thompson's credibility-killing column may be read at the link below. WARNING: It is extremely graphic and should not be viewed by the easily nauseated ...

NEW SHOW NOW ON LINE
This week's edition of my show is now on line for your listening mispleasure. You can download the 33-min mp3 file HERE. The show is longer by about ten minutes than previous shows due to there being more music than usual. On this week's show you'll hear two tracks by the Minnesota-based band, Di Dollari, who play some great surf-rock/spaghetti-western/space-age instrumentals. In addition, I'm featuring a track from Houston country-and-western singer Liz Talley. All this in addition to the usual subversive political rant, high weirdness, and a visit to the Dream Time.
Incidentally, this show is now being carried on Anomaly Radio. Different episodes are broadcast randomly throughout the week, then on Mondays between 4 and 6 pm CDT several shows are carried back to back, along with the latest show. Go HERE to listen ...
