Ten years ago, I began researching the U.S. government’s massacre of the Branch Davidians in Waco, and as a result published a piece of comics journalism about Waco in The Nose magazine. Also, during that period of time, I was interviewed in the documentary “Day 51: The True Story of Waco.” This film is now on-line HERE. You will not only see a nine-years-younger me, you will also learn some facts about the Waco case which are still not well known. Even more facts will appear on this website this weekend when I post my recent article “Waco Remembered.”

In October 1997, then Missouri Senator John Ashcroft wrote an opinion piece, "Keep Big Brother's Hands Off the Internet," in which he argued that "The Clinton administration would like the Federal government to have the capability to read any international or domestic computer communications. The FBI wants access to decode, digest, and discuss financial transactions, personal e- mail, and proprietary information sent abroad—all in the name of national security," and that this policy "raises obvious concerns about Americans' privacy." He also comes out in favor of the Bill of Rights: "The protections of the Fourth Amendment are clear. The right to protection from unlawful searches is an indivisible American value. Two hundred years of court decisions have stood in defense of this fundamental right. The state's interest in effective crime-fighting should never vitiate the citizens' Bill of Rights."

As I mentioned the other day, I've been tracking my article "Television and the Hive Mind" ever since it escaped from my laboratory and began replicating itself all over the World Wide Web. Today I found it here.  This website is called thetruthseeker.co.uk. I noticed that they added to my article the following links to three other articles which touch on the same topics. The articles are quite interesting: "Television:  The Hidden Picture" which describes other dangers of television, such as its negative effects on children's speech development and its possible connection to Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder;  "Cosmic Deception:  Let the Citizen Beware" and   "Counterfeit Foe:  The Ultimate Hegalian Dialectic," both of which provide more information on the possibility that UFOs are a hoax perpetrated by the military.
